How to test your Safe Pro device

To check whether your Safe Pro is working correctly, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the power button on the side of your Safe Pro.
  2. Quickly double-tap the power button.
  3. Wait for the long vibration and voice prompt.
  4. When prompted, say 'Test device' clearly.
  5. Follow the voice instructions to continue the test.
  6. When asked, record a short message, for example, 'This is a test'.

Your recording is used to check the following:

  • Network connection: confirms that the device can connect in Testing Mode.
  • Microphone: confirms that the microphone is working correctly.
  • Speaker: plays your recorded message back to confirm that sound output is working.

After the confirmation message, the device will return to standby mode automatically.

Note: Testing does not trigger a live response from the ARC.
