How to test your Safe Pro device
To check whether your Safe Pro is working correctly, follow these steps:
- Locate the power button on the side of your Safe Pro.
- Quickly double-tap the power button.
- Wait for the long vibration and voice prompt.
- When prompted, say 'Test device' clearly.
- Follow the voice instructions to continue the test.
- When asked, record a short message, for example, 'This is a test'.
Your recording is used to check the following:
- Network connection: confirms that the device can connect in Testing Mode.
- Microphone: confirms that the microphone is working correctly.
- Speaker: plays your recorded message back to confirm that sound output is working.
After the confirmation message, the device will return to standby mode automatically.
Note: Testing does not trigger a live response from the ARC.
