Getting started with Audit Form Templates
Applies to user roles: Account Owner
Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app
Audit Form Templates define the structure of an Audit. They contain the sections, questions, and response types that auditors work through when completing a form.
Templates are created once and then reused each time that Audit is carried out. This helps keep Audits consistent across teams, Sites, and recurring checks.
Audit Form Templates can include:
- sections to organise the form into logical parts
- questions for the auditor to answer
- response types that define how each answer is captured
- required questions that must be completed before submission
Note: Before auditors can use an Audit Form Template, it must be published.
How to access Audit Form Templates
- Go to 'Audits' in the left sidebar.
- Click 'Form Templates'.
From here, you can create, edit, duplicate, and delete Audit Form Templates.
Templates are useful for:
- recurring inspections
- site checks
- safety Audits
- compliance reviews
- standardised internal processes
Note: Unpublished templates are not visible to users completing Audits. Make sure you publish a template before expecting users to access it.
