How to add and manage comments in Documents

Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager, User

How to add a comment in Documents

  1. Go to 'Documents' in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the document you want to comment on.
  3. Highlight the text you want to comment on.
  4. In the floating toolbar, click 'Comment'.
  5. Enter your comment.
  6. Click 'Send'.

Text with a comment is marked with a yellow underline. When you hover over the text, it becomes highlighted, and you can click it to open the comment.

How to manage comments in Documents

  1. Go to 'Documents' in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the document you want to review.
  3. To open the comments panel, click commented text in the document or click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select 'Comments'.

In the comments panel, you can:

  • reply to a comment in a thread, keeping related feedback grouped together
  • resolve a comment
  • edit or delete a comment
  • switch between the 'Open' and 'Resolved' tabs to view active or resolved comments
