How to manage folders in Documents

Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager

How to create a new folder in Documents

  1. Go to 'Documents' in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the '+' icon next to the 'Documents' header and select 'New Folder'. Alternatively, hover over an existing folder, click the three-dot menu, and select 'Create Subfolder'.
  3. In the modal, enter a folder name.
  4. Select the parent folder.
  5. Click 'Create'.

The folder appears in the sidebar tree. If you created a subfolder, the parent folder expands to show it.

How to move a Document between folders

  1. Go to 'Documents' in the left sidebar.
  2. Hover over the document you want to move and click the three-dot menu.
  3. Select 'Move to Folder'.
  4. In the folder picker, select the destination folder.
  5. Click 'Move'.

The Document will move to the selected folder immediately.

How to delete a folder in Documents

A folder must be empty before it can be deleted. Once it's empty:

  1. Go to 'Documents' in the left sidebar.
  2. Hover over the folder you want to delete and click the three-dot menu.
  3. Select 'Delete'.

Note: If the folder contains Documents, you will see the message to move or delete the Documents first.

If the folder is empty, a confirmation modal appears, where you can confirm to delete the folder.
