How to send a password reset email or resend an invitation

Account Owners can trigger a password reset or resend a setup invitation for any user in their organisation, directly from that user's profile. This is useful when a user can't sign in, has forgotten their password, or their original invitation email was missed.

How to send a password reset email

Use this when a user has already signed in before but needs to set a new password.

  1. Go to 'Admin' in the left sidebar.
  2. Select 'Users'.
  3. Click the user's name to open their profile.
  4. In the top-right corner of the profile page, click the three-dot menu.
  5. Select 'Send password reset email'.
  6. Review the confirmation prompt, then click 'Send reset email'.

A password reset link is sent to the user's email address. Their current password continues to work until they use the link to set a new one.

How to resend an invitation

Use this when a user was added to the platform but never completed their account setup.

  1. Go to 'Admin' in the left sidebar.
  2. Select 'Users'.
  3. Click the user's name to open their profile.
  4. In the top-right corner of the profile page, click the three-dot menu.
  5. Select 'Select Resend invitation'.
  6. Review the confirmation prompt, then click 'Resend invitation'.

The user receives a new setup email with a link to set their password and sign in.
