Vatix product updates - V26.7.0
This release adds a redesigned inbox and email notifications experience, new self-serve user management options, improved user exports, recovery codes for two-factor authentication and an updated Absence Duration calculation in Events.
Inbox and email notifications
Inbox module-specific views
The Inbox sidebar now includes a view for each module you have access to. Select Events, Actions, Audits, Sites, or Assets to see only the notifications from that area, rather than scrolling through everything at once.
Redesigned email notification preferences
Your email notification preferences have been updated with more control over how you're notified. Settings are now grouped by product area (Actions, Events, Audits, Documents, Sites, and Assets), and you'll only see the sections relevant to your role and your organisation's plan. Each notification type can be switched on or off individually.
Note that these settings control email notifications only, and you'll always receive notifications in your Inbox regardless of your preferences.
Due today reminder
A new 'Due today' notification sends a morning email listing all tasks and scheduled audits assigned to you that are due that day. You can switch this notification on or off in your preferences under Actions.
User management
Self-serve password resets and invite resends
Account Owners can now send password reset emails and resend invitations directly from Admin → Users, helping colleagues regain access.
Improved bulk user export
The user records export now includes an ‘Export all records’ option that covers every user across all pages in a single file, instead of one page at a time.
Account security
Recovery codes for two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication now issues recovery codes during setup, giving you a way back into your account if you lose access to your authentication device. Save them when shown, as they are displayed only once.
Events
Improved Absence Duration calculation
Absence Duration now better reflects the total number of calendar days someone was off work.
Previously, the final day of absence was not included. It now counts both the first and last day of absence. For example, if someone is off from 1 to 3 June and returns on 4 June, the absence duration is now shown as 3 days.
Because this value is calculated live, existing absence records may show one day more than before. This is expected, and no action is needed.
