Vatix product updates - V26.9.0
This release brings your account and configuration settings into one place, adds employment and organisation details to user records, and improves the audit experience with visible due times and assignment notifications for self-scheduled audits.
Settings
All your settings in one place
'Admin', 'Object Manager' and your personal settings are now available in a single 'Settings' area. Select the gear icon in the top-right corner to open it.
Within Settings:
- 'Personal' contains your profile, notification and security settings.
- 'Organisation' contains users, teams, company settings and licences.
- 'Objects' contains the forms, fields, layouts and pipelines used for your records.
The sections you see depend on your role and the Vatix features available to your organisation.
Updated account menu
Select your avatar in the top-right corner to see your name and account, access your profile, open the Help Centre, or view 'What's new', where these product updates are published.
The Help Centre has moved here from the question mark icon.
User records
User records now include an 'Employment & organisation' section with the following fields:
- Job title
- Department
- Line manager
- Employment type
- Start date
- Cost centre
- Site
- Country
A new 'Employee ID' field is also available alongside each user's personal details. Account Owners can complete and update these fields on individual user records.
Department and employment type include a standard set of options to choose from.
All organisations can use the fields above. Some organisations will also see a 'Region' field and a 'Custom fields' section containing five configurable fields.
These initially appear as 'Custom Field 1' to 'Custom Field 5' and can be renamed under 'User Fields' in Settings. Regions can be added from the same area.
Audits
Due times on scheduled audits
Every scheduled audit has always had a due time, but until now only the due date was displayed. This meant an audit could appear as ‘Overdue’ while still being labelled as due today.
Audits now show both the due date and time wherever they appear. Hover over the deadline to see the full date and time.
Ad hoc audits now default to a 09:00 start time and a 17:00 due time, in line with the recurring schedule form, rather than being due at the start of the day. Any times you set manually are preserved.
Notifications for self-scheduled audits
When you schedule yourself for an audit, you now receive an assignment notification, just as you would when someone else assigns the audit to you.
