How to create and update Alarm Response Profiles
An Alarm Response Profile is a list of emergency contacts who are contacted when a user raises an alert and it needs to be escalated. It should consist of a minimum of 3 contacts, covering all hours of the day and week if possible. This is to ensure that if an alert is raised, someone is available to answer the call and provide assistance. To learn more about what happens when an alarm is raised, click here.
To create an Alarm Response Profile:

Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

Click 'Alarm Response Profiles' in the navigation bar.

Click 'New Profile' on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Select either Vatix 24/7 or Self-Monitoring (whichever applies to your organisation).

Add contacts and name your Alarm Response Profile. We recommend giving them suitable names so that when it comes to assigning them to users, you know which profile is for which user. The 'Instructions' box is for any information you can provide to the responder about that emergency contact. e.g. availability, working hours, job role etc. Once all contacts are added with their phone numbers, click the 'Save' button in the top right of the screen.

How to create an Alarm Response Profile (Video):
You can create as many Alarm Response Profiles as you need, but you can only link one to each user. Please see how to Assign an Alarm Response Profile to a user.
We recommend diligently updating these Alarm Response Profiles to ensure, as the emergency contacts could be on holiday or have left the company.
PLEASE NOTE - Phone numbers must be in the area code format, e.g. +447801234567
To edit an Alarm Response Profile:

Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

Click 'Alarm Response Profiles' in the navigation bar.

Click on the Alarm Response Profile you wish to edit.

Adjust the details or add extra emergency contacts as needed.

Click 'Save' in the top right-hand corner.
Save the 24/7 Vatix Alarm Receiving Centre Numbers

If escalation contacts are contacted following an alarm activation, they will receive a call from (+44) 0844 871 2223 (our Alarm Receiving Centre). I recommend that these emergency contacts save this number as 'Vatix Emergency Call' so that in an emergency they do not reject the call (thinking it to be a scam call or otherwise).

For app users: When an alarm is activated, the app user will see this number pop up on their screen: (+44) 808 169 2431. This is the Alarm Receiving Centre calling them. It is important that they always answer this call if they are able to even if it is a false alarm. Otherwise, we will be unable to confirm they are safe and the alert will remain open.
