How to reset your password if you've forgotten it
Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager, User
Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app, Protector Mobile app
If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it from either the Vatix Workspace web login page or your Protector Mobile app. The reset link is sent to the email address registered on your account.
How to reset your password
In the Vatix Workspace web app:
- Go to https://workspace.vatix.com/login/.
- Click 'Forgot password?'.
- Enter your email address and click 'Send reset link'.
- Open the email from Vatix titled 'Reset your password'.
- Click the reset link in the email.
- Enter your new password and confirm it.
- Click 'Update password'.
In the Protector Mobile app:
- Open the Protector Mobile app.
- On the login screen, tap 'Forgot password?'.
- Enter your email address and tap 'Send reset link'.
- Open the email from Vatix on your phone or another device.
- Tap the reset link in the email.
- Enter your new password and confirm it.
- Tap 'Update password'.
Your password will be updated immediately. Log in on any device with the new password.
Tip: Reset emails sometimes land in Spam or Junk folders. Check there if you don't see the email after a couple of minutes.
Note: This article applies to accounts that log in with email and password. If your organisation uses Single Sign-On, your password is managed in your identity provider; the 'Forgot password?' link will not reset it.
