What is the 'Devices' tab in the Vatix app?
Note: The Protector Mobile app was renamed to the Vatix app on 5 October 2026. Read more about the rename.
In the Lone Worker app (part of the Vatix app, formerly Protector Mobile app), you will notice a tab called 'Devices'. Please do not worry about this tab unless you use our physical Safe Pro device.
The 'Devices' tab allows users to assign a specific lone worker device to themselves. If you do not have a physical device, you do not need to worry about this tab, as you will have the 'Safety' tab enabled, which will allow you to raise an alarm in the event of an emergency.
If you are meant to be using the Lone Worker app, but the 'Safety' tab isn't visible at the bottom, please speak to your Account Owner, as they will have to assign the licence for you to use it.
