How to attach photos and files to an Audit
Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager, User
Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app, Protector Mobile app
You can attach photos, files and comments to individual questions in an Audit to add supporting evidence or extra context. This can be useful when you need to show what was found during an inspection, add follow-up notes or upload relevant documentation.
💻 In the Vatix Workspace web app:
- Go to 'Audits' in the left sidebar.
- Click 'New' to start a new Audit, or open an existing Audit from the list to continue editing it.
- In the form, find the question you want to add evidence to.
- Click 'Activity feed' next to that question.
- To upload a file or image, click the file icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Select the photos or files you want to upload.
- To add a comment, type your message in the chat box.
- Continue completing the form as needed.
An icon will appear on the question to show that a file or comment has been attached.
📱In the Protector Mobile app:
- Open the Audit you want to add evidence to.
- Open the question you want to update.
- Tap 'Activity feed'.
- Tap the paperclip icon to attach photos or files.
- To add a comment, type your message in the chat box.
- Continue completing the form as needed.
What happens next
Any photos, files or comments you add stay attached to that specific question in the Audit. This helps keep supporting evidence linked to the exact part of the form it relates to.
