Getting started with Actions
Actions is where you find your outstanding work across the Vatix platform: Tasks and upcoming Scheduled Audits.
Each has its own tab, so you can view, track, and complete work based on your role and access.
Actions types
There are two types of items in Actions:

Tasks: A piece of work assigned to someone to complete, such as following up on an Event or fixing a hazard.

Scheduled Audits: Audits set to be carried out on a due date, either as a one-off or on a repeating schedule.
Who can access and manage Actions
Access to Actions depends on your organisation's configuration, your role, permissions, and module access:
- Account Owners can view and manage all Tasks and Scheduled Audits across the organisation.
- Managers can view and manage all Scheduled Audits across the organisation, and Tasks assigned to them or to members of their team.
- Users can view and manage Tasks and Scheduled Audits assigned to them.
Note: The 'Audits' tab is only visible to organisations and users who have access to the Audits module.
How to view Actions
💻 In the Vatix Workspace web app:
- Go to 'Actions' in the left sidebar.
- Switch between the 'Tasks' and 'Audits' tabs as needed.
📱In the Protector Mobile app:
- Tap 'Actions' in the bottom menu. It is shown as a blue square icon with a white checkmark inside it.
- Switch between the 'Tasks' and 'Audits' tabs as needed.
What you can do in Actions
- Customise which columns are shown in the list view
- Filter by status, due date, type, or related record
- Open a Task or Scheduled Audit to view details and make change
