How to link an Audit to other records
Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager, User
Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app, Protector Mobile app
Linking a completed Audit to a Site, Asset, Contact or Document helps keep related information connected in the right place.
This makes it easier to understand the Audit in context, view it from the linked record, and keep inspections and follow-up activity organised across the Workspace.
How to link an Audit to a Site, Asset, Contact or Document
💻 In the Vatix Workspace web app:
- Go to 'Audits' in the left sidebar.
- Open the completed Audit you want to link.
- Click the 'Overview' tab.
- Click the edit button on the right.
- Select the Site, Asset, Contact or Document you want to link the Audit to.
- Click 'Save'.
📱 In the Protector Mobile app:
- Open the Protector Mobile app.
- Open the completed Audit you want to link.
- Tap the 'Overview' tab.
- Tap the Site, Asset, Contact or Document field you want to update.
- Select the record you want to link.
- Close the selection window or return to the form record, depending on your device flow.
The completed Audit will then be linked to the selected record. It will appear in the Related tab of the connected record.
How to link a Task to an Audit
💻 In the Vatix Workspace web app:
- Go to 'Audits' in the left sidebar.
- Open the completed Audit you want to link.
- Click the 'Related' tab.
- Click '+ New Task'.
- Fill in the Task details.
- Click 'Create Task'.
