How to manage your email notification preferences
Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager, User
Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app, Protector Mobile app
Notification preferences help you stay informed about the updates that matter to you without receiving unnecessary emails. You can choose which email updates you receive for each product area.
Settings are grouped by module, and only the options relevant to your role and your organisation’s available products are shown.
How to access your notification preferences
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select 'Settings'.
- Go to 'Notifications' in the left sidebar.
How to manage your notifications
Each module section can be expanded to show the individual notification types available to you. Each notification has an email toggle you can switch on or off.
The sections you see depend on the modules enabled for your organisation and your user role.
The following sections may be available:

Actions: Covers action assignments, comments, mentions, and reminders.
- Action assigned to me: when you're assigned a new action
- Mentioned in action comment: when someone @mentions you in a comment on an action
- Due today: a morning reminder listing all tasks, audits, and document acknowledgements assigned to you that are due today
- Events: Covers event assignments, stage changes, comments, and submissions.

Event assigned to me: when you're assigned as the owner of an event
- Event stage changed: when the stage is updated on an event you're collaborating on
- Added as collaborator: when you're added as a collaborator on an event
- New comment on event: when a new comment is posted on an event you're collaborating on
- Mentioned in event comment: when someone @mentions you in a comment on an event
- New event submitted: when any event is submitted in your organisation
- New events I collaborate on: when a new event is submitted and you're added as a collaborator on it

- Audits: Covers audit submissions and schedules.
- Audit submitted: when an audit is submitted by anyone in your organisation

Audit schedule assigned to me: when you're assigned an audit schedule to carry out
- Documents: Covers document acknowledgement assignments. This section only appears if document acknowledgements are enabled for your account.
- Acknowledgement assigned to me: when you're assigned a document acknowledgement
- Sites: Covers site manager assignments, comments, and mentions.
