How to view alarm history for your team

Applies to user roles: Account Owner, Manager

Available on platforms: Vatix Workspace web app

Every alarm raised in your organisation is recorded with the time it was raised, who raised it and who responded. Managers see alarms raised by people in their team, and Account Owners see alarms across the whole account.

Where to find your team's alarm history

  1. Go to 'Lone Working' > 'Overview'.
  2. Select the 'Alarms' tab.

The list covers alarms raised on a Safe Pro device and in the Protector Mobile App. It's sorted by 'Raised at' with the newest first, so your team's most recent alarm is at the top.

What each column shows

Column What it tells you
Alarm name The alarm, named after the person who raised it
Duration How long the alarm was open
Started by The person who raised the alarm
Responder Who handled the alarm. This is Vatix or a named operator if you use Vatix 24/7 Monitoring, or one of your own nominated contacts if you use Self-Monitoring
Status Where the alarm has got to, for example 'Completed'
Raised at The date and time the alarm was raised

How to find when someone last raised an alarm

Type the person's name into 'Search', or use 'Filters' to narrow the list. Their top row is their most recent alarm, and 'Raised at' is the time it was raised.

To keep a copy or work through the alarms outside Vatix, click 'Export'.

Why 'Last online' isn't the same as an alarm

'Lone Working' > 'Usage' has a 'Last online' column, which is a different measure. It tells you the last time a device connected to Vatix, not whether that device raised an alarm. A device can come online every day and never raise one.

Use 'Overview' > 'Alarms' whenever you need to know whether and when an alarm was raised.

Where Timed Alerts appear

Timed Alerts have their own tab next to 'Alarms' on the same page. If a Timed Alert expires, an alarm is activated, and that alarm is then recorded in the 'Alarms' tab alongside the rest.
