How to assign a device to a user

Add a device to a user

Once you have added your users, created the Alarm Response Profiles, and assigned the Alarm Response Profiles to your users, you can now assign your Safe Pro devices.

To assign a Safe Pro device to a user:

  1. Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'Manage' tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Here you will see all the users that you have added. If you have not added your users, see this guide on how to do so.

  3. Under 'Assigned licences' you will see a '+' sign. If you have a physical Safe Pro device from Vatix, search the 7-digit code located on the back of the device and select it to assign to a user.

To unassign a device:

  1. Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'Manage' tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Here you will see all the users that you have added. If you have not added your users, see this guide on how to do so.

  3. Under 'Assigned licences' click on the device you wish to unassign, and select 'Unassign'

Please note:

  • You will not be able to assign a device to a user unless you have already assigned an Alarm Response Profile.

  • You cannot have more than one user assigned to a device at any time.

  • When you assign a device, it will use up one of your monitoring licences (visible at the top of the screen).
