Getting started with a Safe Pro device

Safe Pro is a dedicated safety device for lone workers who need a reliable way to raise an alarm, particularly where mobile coverage is variable or carrying a smartphone is impractical.

Safe Pro features

The Safe Pro has:

• a physical SOS button
• GPS tracking with Wi-Fi-assisted positioning
• fall detection
• a multi-network SIM that connects to the strongest available network
• a battery life of up to 7 days

Before using a Safe Pro

1. Charge the device fully before issuing it.
2. Assign the device to the user in the Vatix Workspace web app.
3. Make sure the user has an Alarm Response Profile assigned.
4. Ask the user to test the device before their first shift.

How to view all Safe Pro devices in your Vatix account

In the Vatix Workspace web app:

1. Go to 'Lone Working' in the left sidebar.
2. Select 'Devices'.

Each device is listed by name and code, for example Safe Pro (VTX-MY23), along with its device tags and current user.
