How to assign a Lone Working app licence to a user

Once you have added your users, created the Alarm Response Profiles, and assigned the Alarm Response Profiles to your users, you can now assign your Lone Working app licences to the users in your account.

To assign a Lone Working app licence to a user:

  1. Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'Manage' tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Here you will see all the users that you have added. If you have not added your users, see this guide on how to do so.

  3. Under ‘Assigned licences’ on the right, you will see a grey toggle next to the words 'Mobile App' icon. Click on this toggle to enable the Lone Working app licence for that user. This will use up one of your monitoring licences (visible at the top of the screen).

  4. The user will now be able to download the Lone Working app (see: How to download the Protector Mobile app) and log in using the phone number registered on their account. Please note, the user needs to have a phone number linked to their profile to do this.

To unassign a Lone Working app licence

  1. Click 'Lone Working' in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'Manage' tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Here you will see all the users that you have added.

  3. If the Mobile App toggle is blue, the user has an app licence assigned to them. To unassign this, click on the toggle. Once it is grey, the licence has been unassigned and this will free it up for another user.
