My Safe Pro device is not charging

Please see the image below, which shows the charging dock and Safe Pro charging correctly. Please confirm that the image below is the same as your charging dock and Safe Pro when charging. If not, please see the sections below if either the charging dock or Safe Pro are not the same as the image.

Charging dock troubleshooting

  1. If your charging dock does not have a permanent red LED like in the image above, this indicates that there is no power going to the dock, or that there may be an issue with one of the accessories. Please ensure that the cable and wall plug are attached securely.

  2. Please test the charging dock and accessories using a different wall socket in another part of the room.

  3. If possible, please test the charging dock using a different cable/plug. You can also test without the plug by plugging the cable into a USB hub.

Safe Pro troubleshooting

  1. If your charging dock has a solid red LED present, please place your Safe Pro into the charging dock, ensuring it is pressed all the way down to ensure the charging contacts on the device touch the metal pins inside of the charging dock.

  2. If you have access to another charging dock, please try charging the device in a different charging dock to see if there may be an issue with the connection between the Safe Pro device and the charging dock.

  3. A common reason the Safe Pro device does not charge is that the contacts on the bottom of the device or inside the charging dock are dirty. Dirt and dust can accumulate on the contacts and interfere with the connection to the charging dock. To clean them, use a soft cloth or compressed air. To clean them, use a soft cloth or a can of compressed air. Gently wiping the contacts with a cloth or wipe can also be effective.

  4. Check if anything is blocking the device from sliding into the dock.
