How fall detection works on the Safe Pro device

Fall detection automatically raises an alarm if the Safe Pro detects that you have fallen and are not moving. It is designed for situations where you cannot press the SOS button yourself.

How it works

The Safe Pro uses impact-based detection to distinguish between a genuine fall and normal activity such as kneeling, sitting, or placing the device on a surface. This reduces false alarms while still responding to real incidents.

When a fall is detected:

  • The device sounds an audible warning, giving you 10 seconds to cancel if you are safe.
  • To cancel, press the SOS button and the power button at the same time.
  • If you do not cancel within 10 seconds, an alarm is raised.

Fall detection operates automatically. You do not need to activate it manually.

Note: Fall detection is a hardware feature built into the Safe Pro device. Fall detection in the Protector Mobile app is a separate, optional setting that uses your phone’s sensors. The two features work independently of each other.
