Vatix 24/7 Monitoring

With Vatix's 24/7 monitoring, you will get fully qualified responders dealing with any alarms you raise. No matter the time of day, our responders will be there to answer alerts and provide assistance.

If, after listening in for audio cues of distress or violence, the responder cannot detect an immediate threat, but you are unable to respond and confirm your safety verbally, they will call the contacts in your predefined Alarm Response Profile. This usually involves contacting your line managers or colleagues to ensure your well-being.

Please see this article to find out exactly what happens when you raise an alert.

Self-Monitoring

Self-monitoring allows an organisation to implement their own escalation process. When you have created your Alarm Response Profile, please remember that when an alarm is raised, it will call all of the escalations at once.

The first person to pick up the call becomes the dedicated responder. You can communicate with the user through the two-way audio. Once you have assessed the situation, it is critical not to hang up the call but close down the alert. You can close it down by pressing the * key and selecting one of the three options, which be communicated by an automated message:

  1. Confirmed Alert

  2. False Alert

  3. Test Alert
