If your phone number is listed as one of our emergency contacts, you may receive a call if a lone worker raises an alarm.

What to do if you are a responder:

1. When the alarm is raised, all emergency contacts will be phoned simultaneously until someone picks up. The call will come from +44 808 169 2431. We recommend saving this number on your phone.

2. Answer the call. You will hear an automated message informing you that this is a Vatix alert and will ask you to confirm your name. This is a human ID test to prevent us from being put through to voicemail.

3. Once you have said your name, the system will confirm the verification. Please then wait a few seconds. You are being dialled into the two-way audio line. You can speak directly to the user who raised the alert.

4. From here, you can speak to the user and check they’re ok. If it is an emergency, you should follow your agreed internal escalation processes. Once you have assessed the situation, it is critical not to hang up the call but close down the alert. The Safe Pro and Lone Working app cannot be used to raise an alert if there is already an alert open. You can close it down by pressing the * key and selecting one of the three options, which be communicated by an automated message:

  1. Confirmed Alert

  2. False Alert

  3. Test Alert
